Purpose Statement
The Chippewa Valley Correctional Treatment Facility (CVCTF) is dedicated to the development, implementation, and subsequent modification of a treatment program that will effectively and efficiently address the needs of offenders in the area of substance abuse and related issues, preparing them for reintegration to their respective communities.

Special historical notes and other institutional information
Transferred from the Northern Wisconsin Center to the Department Of Corrections, Division of Adult Institutions, under the original name of Highview, the four-story facility underwent extensive remodeling in 2003 – 2004.  Located in Chippewa Falls, the facility accepted its first inmates on April 20, 2004. CVCTF is an all-male, minimum-security facility with 300 beds reserved for treatment, while 150 beds are maintained for inmate workers within and outside the facility.

CVCTF offers inmates the opportunity to satisfy their obligations to the State while building personal recovery foundations for themselves and their families. This facility allows inmates in program to participate in community service projects for many non-profit charitable organizations.  This allows inmates to give back to the community, after having taken so much from their communities during the commission of their crimes.
