WI Act 185 Stakeholder Input Gathering Sessions

The Department is hosting several Act 185 stakeholder input gathering sessions. These sessions will include a brief overview of the Act and a status update on implementation. The session will also include an opportunity to break out into smaller groups to discuss and provide input on key topics related to the implementation of the Act. Sessions will be held on the following dates.

The Department has developed a standard series of questions used during these sessions.

Although a brief overview of the Act will be given, attendees may find it helpful to review materials available on DOC’s Act 185 webpage, including handouts from the first Juvenile Corrections Study Committee meeting.

Opportunities for stakeholder input will continue into the future as implementation of Act 185 proceeds. Department staff may also be able to attend meetings of existing stakeholder groups to engage in this stakeholder input gathering process; please contact us by e-mail at DOCWIAct185@wisconsin.gov to make arrangements.
