Wisconsin Department of Corrections recognizes the crucial role that support from family and friends plays in rehabilitation and successful re​entry into the community. As part of our commitment to serving the people of Wisconsin with transparency and accountable decision-making, Secretary Jared Hoy and department leadership want to hear directly from the loved ones of those engaged with the DOC.​​

Registration is required

Attendance is limited to friends and family members of individuals who are currently incarcerated or on active community supervision. Attendance is limited to 100 people. Registrants must be 18 or older. Attendees will receive a confirmation email with additional event details on Monday, July 21.

Submit your questions

Attendees are encouraged to submit questions no later than Monday, July 14. Questions will be reviewed in advance for common themes to assist leadership in addressing each topic.

The first Friends & Family Forum was held on April 9, 2025, at the Kolb Center at Fox Lake Correctional Institution. This provided an opportunity for attendees to ask questions, offer feedback and positively contribute to our state’s corrections policies.
