Wisconsin Department of Corrections recognizes the crucial role that support from family and friends plays in rehabilitation and successful reentry into the community. As part of our commitment to serving the people of Wisconsin with transparency and accountable decision-making, Secretary Jared Hoy and department leadership want to hear directly from the loved ones of those engaged with the DOC.

The first Friends & Family Forum was held on April 9, 2025, at the Kolb Center at Fox Lake Correctional Institution. This provided an opportunity for attendees to ask questions, offer feedback and positively contribute to our state’s corrections policies.
