Consider a career with the Department of Corrections working with our youth at Copper Lake/Lincoln Hills Schools. Juvenile corrections staff are key to successful program operation and positive treatment outcomes. DOC Youth Counselors, Social Workers, Teachers, Nurses, and Psychologists working in our secure juvenile facilities have an opportunity to positively impact the lives of our youth. Juvenile corrections employees are instrumental to the success of rehabilitating our youth. CLS/LHS provides educational services to students, including opportunities to obtain high school diplomas, high school equivalency diplomas (HSED), life work education such as resume writing, college and career planning, and career and technical education. Our staff also provide quality healthcare and human services, including a multi-disciplinary methodology to maximize service effectiveness.

 

Our secure juvenile facilities are located in Irma, Wisconsin, a short drive from Rhinelander and Wausau.
