The Chippewa Valley Correctional Treatment Facility (CVCTF) is dedicated to the development, implementation, and subsequent modification of a treatment program that will effectively and efficiently address the needs of offenders in the area of substance abuse and related issues, preparing them for reintegration to their respective communities.
Transferred from the Northern Wisconsin Center to the Department Of Corrections, Division of Adult Institutions, under the original name of Highview, the four-story facility underwent extensive remodeling in 2003 – 2004. In March of 2004, Highview Hall was renamed Chippewa Valley Correctional Treatment Facility. The facility accepted its first inmates on April 20, 2004.
CVCTF is an all-male, minimum-security facility with 300 beds reserved for treatment. CVCTF provides the Earned Release Program (ERP) pursuant to Wisconsin State Statutes, Sec 302.05.
